Question:

I will like to add the piece that goes on to top of the cab, like extension, to get more balance for my latters ... Would that be possible?? 1996 Toyota Tacoma

If you have the Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 450 lbs - Silver # TH500XT there is not a cantilever option. The bars on that system are 72" long x 3-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" tall, where the bars for the cantilever # TH24001XT and # TH24002XT fits bars that are 4 inch wide and 1-1/2 inches tall with supports that are not adjustable.

You can use the Replacement Load Stops for Thule Aeroblade Load Bars, Ladder Racks, or Thule TracRac CapRac - Qty 4 # 753-3761 to add additional supports to help balance at the rack but you would need to add a roof rack to get the cab support you are seeking. You can use the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Square Crossbars - Steel - 45-1/2" Long # SR1005 along with the Short-Roof Adapter # SR1116 if you desire that additional support.
