Updated 03/04/2019 | Published 03/03/2019 >
Question:
I have a load master trailer with a 25ft boat on it. Dont know the year or model number of the trailer. Its equipped with eliminator torsion axles and a surge brake system, 4 15 inch wheels and its a 12 inch brake assy. I want to replace the brake assys. From the limited information, do you know what assy I need as a replacement? Also can you identify the grease seals I would need?

From the info and picture you gave me I can tell you that the Dexter Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit # 23-342-343 you referenced is exactly what you'll need. It fits the bolt pattern I see in the picture and has the 12 inch diameter you need as well. This is a pair for both sides of the trailer as well.
To pick out a replacement grease seal you will need to measure the diameter of the spindle where the grease seal rides with a digital or dial caliper and then need to measure the hub bore where the current seal rides. With those two dimensions we can pick out the correct seal that you would need.
I attached a link to a page that has all of the grease seals we carry. You will need to select your inner and outer diameter from the filters on the page and the correct seals will be listed.
