I accidentally bought 2 passenger lights, will it make a difference if i flip it and wire it on drivers side??

You would be totally fine to use the Combination LED Trailer Tail Light # STL8RB on both the driver and passenger side of your trailer. You'd just need to flip it over like you mentioned and you'd be fine. It will function the same installed on either side. The only reason there's a driver and passenger side is that the driver side typically has a license plate light on the bottom of it.
