Question:
How much does the Magnum hitch weigh vs the Original? Trying to decide which to buy.

Expert Reply:
TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch # TLD1108-30 weighs approximately 130-lbs. Shipping weight with all packaging materials is 135-lbs. SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch # TLD1108 weighs approximately 122-lbs, and with packing materials its shipping weight is 127-lbs.
The weight difference is mostly due to the different sizes of main cross tube. The Original has a 3-1/2 x 3-1/2-inch cross tube while the Magnum has a 4 x 4-inch cross tube.
Both include all necessary mounting hardware for bolt-on installation on your 2018 Ram 3500. We did an install of the Original # TLD1108 on a 2018 Ram 3500 and that video is included for you. Many consider the 3000-lbs of additional capacity with the Magnum to be worth the few extra pounds.
