Is Replacement Internal Screw Available for Ram 7K Weld-On trailer Jack
Question:
I have a ram 7000lb tounge jack on my dump trailer, i think.... no name on it but the pics look the closest. I need the internal screw and plate, the internal nut stripped out, do you sell just that part, or the whole internals for the jack. All the gears look good. I am hoping to not have to cut it off and re weld it because of the way its mounted by the front box it would be a pita to get to the welds to grind. The leg is 2x2 internally

I spoke with my contact at Ram and they said that the internal screw for the 7K jacks are not something they carry replacements of so you will need to replace the whole jack. Even if this wasn't the case it would be a good idea to replace the entire unit anyways so that you can be confident all of the internal components are working properly.
From what you described it looks like you either need part # TJD-7000S which is a weld-on 7K jack with a sidewind handle or part # TJD-7000 which is a weld-on 7K jack with a topwind handle. Attached are review videos for both jacks that you can check out.
