Question:
I guess I didn’t ask the question correctly. When the fan is turned off the lid closes but does not shut off right away. It continues to cycle like if the limit switch needs adjusted or a torque sensor

If you have the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent # MA00-04000K installed then it would make sense that the fan would continue to operate with the vent closed as this acts as a ceiling fan when the vent is closed.
Should you have a different MaxxFan just let me know what the model is and I can look into it further.
