Question:
I believe my suburban water heater drains by removing the anode tube. Is CAM09883 equivalent to a six sided 1-1/16 socket? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The Camco Wrench for Screw-In Water Heater Element # CAM09883 is a for the 1-1/2 inch nut and will not work for the anode rod. You will want to replace your anode rod with the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod - Aluminum - 3/4" Diameter x 9-1/2" Long # CAM11563 and this unit uses a 1-1/16 inch socket or wrench for installation/removal.
