How to Adjust Temperature Settings on the Furrion Fireplace with the Furrion Unismart Remote
Updated 02/12/2019 | Published 02/10/2019 >
Question:
I have misplaced the real remote that came with my Furrion 34 fireplace. On that remote I could set a thermostat actual temperature. The universal remote does control my fireplace but I can’t figure out how to get it to display the actual thermostat figures i.e. 70, 75, etc. It only displays L1, L2, etc on the speed button and either L or H on the thermometer button. Can you help or should I order a new fireplace remote?

I spoke with my contact at Furrion about the issue you are having with the Furrion 34" Electric Fireplace w/ Wood part # FF34SW15ABL. I assume you have the Furrion Unismart Universal Remote Control part # FR34FR and if that is the case then I have just want to need to do in order to adjust the temperature settings to a certain degree.
The first thing you are going to want to do is press the "Fireplace/TV" button at the top of the remote. Once this is done you will then need to press and hold the button with the "Thermostat Icon" at the bottom. While holding this you can then press the "+" symbol on the channel select to increase the temperature to a certain degree. If you go too far then you will just simply need to surpass the max setting as it will then go down to the minimum.
I have attached a photo to assist.
