Question:
Will the gorilla lift work on my 3” pipe top rail trailer.

You can indeed install the Rack'Em Double Barrel Utility Trailer Tailgate # RA-27C on your trailer with a 3 inch pipe top rail. When installing the unit you will just need to obtain a couple of muffler clamps that fit the 3 inch pipe top and use them instead of the included U-bolts.
I have attached an image from the installation instructions that further details this process.
