Updated 01/18/2019 | Published 01/17/2019 >
Question:
Ive read your instructions to install the Curt 4 pin taillight wiring harness in a 2018 Taurus. The instructions do not explain the means of getting the power wire from the trunk into the engine compartment. Can you explain that process in detail?

If you check out the 7:20 mark of the install video I attached for the Curt Trailer Wiring Harness part # C56093 you'll see our installer walk you through the process of routing the power wire of the kit to the front of the vehicle and battery. The trick is to avoid any hot exhaust components and moving parts.
