The Curt Wiring Adapter # C51520 is intended to plug in between a Curt trailer brake controller such as their proportional Triflex model # C24VV and the end of the Cequent wiring harness used in the brake controller port, such as part # 3025-P which fits your truck. The adapter simply allows mixing brands of controllers and harnesses.
