Question:
Pick up our 1st Travel Trailer, 2019 Coachman Apex Nano 185BH, this weekend. Specs: Unloaded 2850lbs. GVWR: 3800 Length 20.6 Feet Height 9.7 Width 7.5. I have a 2018 Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X, Will I need a Weight Distribution Hitch for this Ultra-Lite travel trailer? PS. does the sway control bars have to be used if I buy a system, can I remove them and just use the hitch receiver and ball assembly to tow the travel trailer?

For your 2019 Coachman Apex Nano 185BH, you don't need to use a weight distribution system but it may still be beneficial not only for sway control but also for the lift to reduce rear truck sag when towing. My recommendation is the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution with Sway Control # RP66073 because the dual cams and rolled trunnion bars will keep that light trailer tracking correctly behind your Titan XD. The bars will be required for that sway control which is the bigger issue for the light trailers. For that system you will use a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball like # A-6.
It sounds like you really don't want a weight distribution system, so for just sway control I recommend the Curt Electronic Sway Control System # C94VV. This system mounts to your trailer and will utilize your 7-way trailer connection along with the integrated gyroscope to sense sway and activate your trailer brakes to correct it.
