Recommended Trailer Brake Controller for 2018 Honda Pilot with Factory 7-Way

Hey guys. Looking for a good brake controller for my 18 Honda Pilot. Won't be towing too much but will be from to time - PIlot has the factory 7-Way and all so just looking for your recommendation.

For your 2018 Honda Pilot that is equipped with the factory 7-Way connector I recommend taking a look at the Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 because of its easy install process and unique design that eliminates the need for a separate unit to be permanently mounted inside your Pilot.

The Curt Echo will plug right into the factory 7-Way on your vehicle. Once plugged in you simply need to download the free app and pair the unit to your smartphone via Bluetooth. And that's it. The Echo is a proportional controller that will activate the trailer brakes at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your Pilot. All setting adjustments and access to the manual override take place on your smartphone so you don't need to actually mount anything inside the cab, making it perfect for somebody like you who doesn't plan on towing all the time.

The one thing I do recommend adding if you don't have it already is a dash mount bracket for your phone like # RVS-CEL-M1.
