Question:
I have a trailer with 4.80-12 tires on it rated 90 psi at 990 load range , will these tires be ok to haul my 1,080 lb side by side

Expert Reply:
For your 1,080 lb side by side UTV, the 4.80-12 tires # AM30620 won't be an issue. The tires when inflated to 90 psi cold, will give you a weight capacity of 1,980 lbs per axle. You will however want to make sure the other components on your trailer are rated for the capacity of your 1,080 lb UTV as frame, coupler, leaf springs, etc each have a max capacity. If every component is rated higher than the weight you are carrying you will be just fine as those tires and wheels will work well.
