Question:
I have a 2018 f150 5.0 what im wanting to know is ford requires a 30 amp fuse for their trailer brake control. Does this one have one internal or do i still need to have the 30 amp fuse. I do already have the plug for both trailer hook ups and they both supply power but my question is for the control of the brakes.

The Curt Echo part # C51180 would not require you to install a brake controller fuse in your 2018 Ford F-150. It does not integrate with the brake controller wiring of your truck at all. It bypasses all of that and draws power through the 12 volt accessory circuit instead.
