Does this latch have a left hand version? I need both.

Yes, the Paneloc Heavy Duty Spring Latch is offered in both right hand part # F719-272U and left hand part # F719-282U. The brackets are 2" long x 1-1/8" wide, have a 3/8" diameter pin, and are made of stainless steel. I have attached a review video for you as well.
