Low-profile Class S tire chains like the Konig Low-Pro # TH04115255 are designed for vehicles with limited clearance in the wheel wells. These are also perhaps the easiest-to-use tire chains on the market, as you can see in the linked video, since they include features such as automatic tension control, quick-release and vehicle rim protection. Installation is simple, as noted in the linked diagram.

Class U chains are for vehicles with more wheel well clearance. If your owners manual calls for Class S chains you would not have the clearance for a Class U chain but you can use Class S chains on a vehicle that calls for Class U chains.

The online owner's manual for your Sprinter indicates on page 251 that chains should be used only on the rear wheels. It also notes that Sprinters with steel wheels should have their hubcaps removed to prevent damage from abrasion from the chains.

These Konig chains fit the following tire sizes; check your tire sidewall for their size to confirm compatibility.
