What brake controller do you recommend for my 2017 VS Touareg? I have the 7 pin connector already.

The brake controller that I recommend using to tow with your 2017 Volkswagen Touareg is the Curt Echo # C51180 because you simply plug it into the 7-Way connector and then use your phone to configure the brake settings. All you need is 12V power running to your 7-Way and either an iPhone (OS 8.0 or newer) or an Android (OS 4.4 or newer) and you are good to go!

Since this plugs right into the 7-Way on your Touareg you don't have to worry about where to install the controller in your cab, and the unit itself can be stored in your glove box!

I do recommend using a phone hold like part # PC03 when using the brake controller though so that you can keep your phone right in front of you (in case you need to hit the emergency override) while keeping both hands on the wheel. Please note that you should only adjust your brakes when you are sitting still and not while you are actually traveling down the road.
