Activating 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way on 2001 Ford F-250

Question:
To follow up on the issue. I went back to the Ford dealer and spoke with a service rep. (Had to settle for rep because to talk to a technician would require paid appointment) After discussion, I still didn’t have straight answer but deduced through the process of elimination that trailer tow relay box was the one closest to the firewall. Ford found some relays from a trailer tow kit. Installing in the aft box got me power to the 7-pin. I noted that relays were the same ones as in the forward most box which powers the “shift on fly”.

I can offer an easier way to activate the 12 volt circuit on your 7-way that will eliminate all of the guess work of trying to track down factory wiring but if Ford can't identify the correct relay/fuse while having access to all the schematics and diagrams your truck's wiring has we wouldn't be able to either.
Easiest solution to your problem is to take a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a breaker like part # 9510 from the positive post of the battery to the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way which is the 1:00 pin as you face the front of it.
