What brake controller do you recommend for a 2018 Expedition? I already have a 7way connector at the back.

I recommend going with the Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 for your 2018 Ford Expedition because it installs by simply plugging into your 7-Way connector. You control the unit through a Bluetooth connection via the Echo Smart Control app which is available for Apple 8.0 - newer and Android 4.4 - newer OS smartphones.

Since you use your smartphone to control the settings for your brake settings it eliminates running any wiring around on your Expedition and means that you won't have any extra devices on or near your dash. I do recommend using a phone holder like part # PC03 so that your phone is easily within reach if you need to activate the manual override for your trailer brakes. Please note that you should not be making adjustments to your trailer brakes while you are driving. You need to make any adjustments when you are at a standstill.
