When the rear end squats under a trailer or loaded bed, handling and braking can get sketchy. The Firestone Ride-Rite system adds up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support so your truck stays level and steady under load. The double-convoluted air springs work with your factory suspension to smooth out rough roads, keeping steering and braking consistent whether you’re towing a heavy trailer or hauling gear in the bed.
Every haul is different, so being able to adjust your suspension on demand matters. This kit includes an on-board compressor, single analog in-cab control panel, and switch that let you inflate or deflate both bags together from inside the cab. Set pressures anywhere from 5 to 100 psi to match load weight or road conditions without stepping out or finding an air hose.
You don’t have to chase down extra parts or guess at fitment. Everything needed comes in the box—air bags, custom-fit brackets, compressor, in-cab controller, fittings, lines, and hardware. The precision brackets bolt directly to factory attachment points with no drilling required. Most installs can be done with hand tools over a weekend project.
Road grime and corrosion don’t stand a chance against Firestone’s reinforced rubber air bags and rust-resistant components. Plated, coated, and brass fittings hold pressure tight for leak-resistant performance season after season. The air bags carry a limited lifetime warranty, while hardware, brackets, fittings, and the compressor are backed by 2-year coverage—giving you dependable support through every haul.

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today, we're looking at our Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit with included Easy Mount Compressor and the In-Cab Control. Now, folks, this is a single path kit, meaning you're going to inflate and deflate the bags at the same time, and it's getting you 5,000 pounds of load support. Now, this is a custom fit application, so make sure you're checking the fit guide here at etrailer.com. Enter things like your make and model, bed length, those kinda things, whatever kinda cab it asks for. Be sure you're getting the right parts the first time.
Now, what's great about this all-in-one kit is that you can just add a few pounds when you hitch up or you can let some out whenever you unload. It's quick and easy to do so. Now, everything here is laid out on the table the best I can with the space I have. So I do wanna throw up an image of the compressor, bracket, and compressor mounted. There's U-bolts behind that top-left picture that you can barely see.
That's gonna go around, I believe, the frame of the truck, so it's underneath. And then, also, the air bags themselves with the brackets and everything as well. So again, you're gonna get heavy-duty, reinforced rubber with tight-sealed fittings. Everything here is nice powder coat finish over all the metal parts. You don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, anything like that.
All your nuts, bolts, cable ties, hardware, the T-fittings, the push-to-connect fittings rather for the air line, excuse me. And then with this air line, the installers have told me, make sure you're getting clean cuts, nice and straight and even. That way, when you do those push-to-connect fittings, you don't have to worry about leaks and those kinda things. Of course, you get the in-cab cab gauge I was talking about. It's all analog, so very simple to install.
And then, the compressor, fits in the palm of your hand, very small, but very mighty. Does the job, and it's gonna do it with ease. And again, folks, of course, the two air bags and all the rest of the hardware is included. So again, very simple to inflate and adjust on the go as you're either hooking up or unloading with your ride. So as we know with air bags, you're gonna get some squatting in the back, back up to a level, safe, stable ride, it's gonna get those headlights pointed back down, straight on the road where they need to be, and also, get traction back to the front axle. So if this kit is what you're looking for, great. If you're looking for something different or you're not sure, reach out to us here at etrailer, we're here to assist you in any way we can. We love answering questions and helping our neighbors and friends. I'm Steven, hope this information's been helpful for you. Have a good one, and stay safe while you're towing.

Ratings & Reviews
I like how the Firestone All-in-one comes with everything I needed without needing to piece together a bunch of parts. The best part is that the air bags and the compressor system come in one package, so everything is already matched and ready to install. I still had to mount the compressor myself, but there’s no guesswork on what works with what.
Installation takes a little time, but the bags make a noticeable difference. They level out the truck, cut down on squat, and help everything feel more stable when you’re towing. And with the onboard compressor, I can add or remove air whenever I need, without carrying around a bulky compressor or stopping at the gas station.
It’s a solid, well-built kit that simplifies the whole process. For anyone who tows often and wants a clean, all-in-one solution, it’s a great fit.
