Need 7-Way to 6-Way Adapter With Center Pin that Carries Brake Output
Published 12/05/2018 >
Question:
Do you guys have, or do they make an adapter like this that has the brake on the center pin of the 6 way round plug? Thank you,

There are two ways that 6-ways can be wired like you mentioned. The only difference is that the 12 volt accessory circuit (normally center pin) and brake output circuit (normally 10:00 pin) are swapped. We see this come up quite a bit when people mention that their trailer brakes lock up when connected to a tow vehicle. Since the most common configuration is what I mentioned as "normal" the adapters are in this configuration. What you'd have to do is pull back the plastic loom of the # 337TC1067P so that you can cut those two circuits and attach them opposite. Or you could do this on your trailer's wiring and not modify the adapter.
