Recommended Brake Controller and Wiring Harness Location for a 2018 Nissan Armada

Question:
What brake controller do you recommend that I install on my 2018 Nissan Armada and is there an adapter so I don't have to do any splicing?

I recommend installing the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR on your 2018 Nissan Armada because it offers both a user-control mode and a proportional mode for varying towing applications plus it installs in such a way that only the control knob will be visible. This combination gives you a great brake controller and a clean looking installation that won't get in the way.
The user-control mode is equivalent to a time-delay controller where it brakes at a preset strength where the proportional mode applies the brakes on your trailer at the same time and with the same intensity as the brakes on your Armada.
Then for an adapter you can use part # 3050-S which keeps you from splicing into the OEM wiring on your vehicle. The location of the connector on your Armada is up under your driver's side dash between the brake pedal and emergency brake pedal. It will be taped to another wiring harness but you will be able to tell that it is the correct connector as it will match with the adapter.
I have attached a review video for the Tow-Pro Elite that you can reference as well.
