The maximum wheelbase that the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack part # KU74FR can accommodate is 50". I spoke to my contact at Kuat and they said that they do not list a minimum wheelbase unfortunately but they did tell me that pretty much any bike with at least a 20" diameter wheel will work. This includes BMX bikes as well. The only issue you would have is using the bike rack with a kids bike that has say 16" diameter wheels but other than that you would be fine.
