allowable tongue weight on clevis hitch?

The Conver-A-Ball clevis hitch, part # AMCC2, has a maxium tongue weight rating of 2,000 pounds. This hitch has a polyurethane interior that works like a shock absorber to reduce the vibration caused by towing.
