I want to verify that your 31604 front trailer hitch will fit my 2002 Dodge 2500 cummins 4x4 Sport model. The front bumper is a little different than the standard model. I assume some trimming of the bumper will be required. waiting for your response,

I spoke to my contact at Curt and she confirmed that the Curt Hitch part # 31604 that you referenced would fit your 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport. There will be fascia trimming since you have a Sport model. You can see more info on that in the install instructions link I attached to this page.
