Hi, Will I be able to open the trunk on my 2011 Audi A4 with the TH45jv rack installed on the car? Thanks

Because the bottom legs of a trunk mount bike rack, like the OutWay # TH45JV, rest on the top tier of a vehicle bumper, you will not be able to open the trunk of your 2011 Audi A4. Doing so could cause the bike rack to fall off and/or cause damage to the vehicle and rack. This is true for any trunk mount bike rack.

However, the OutWay # TH45JV goes on and off so quickly that having to remove it to open the trunk is not much of a chore at all. The retractable cables make installation and removal fast and easy, more so than on any other trunk mount bike rack I have seen.

If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, in order to carry the bike more level. I have included a link to a video showing how the adapter bar works.
