How to Determine if Erickson Ladder Rack Will Fit in Garage When Installed

Question:

I have a 2001Dodge Ram 2500 with a 61/2 foot bed. My question is will my truck still fit in a normal 7’ high garage door?

For your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 6-1/2 foot bed the Erickson ladder rack part # EM07705 is a confirmed fit. The ladder rack will add 29 inches to the top of your bed rails. You would need to measure from the top of your bed rails up 29 inches to determine if the ladder rack would fit in your garage door.

The load stops add another 6 inches to the tops of the bars to put the overall height at 35 inches.
