For your 2019 Ram 1500, I recommend the Softride Shuttle Pad Tailgate Bike Carrier for Full-Size Pickup Trucks # SR26457. This pad has the integrated bike straps to secure the bikes so they remain secured to the pad which is attached to the tailgate. It also has the nice gate latch cover to further protect the tailgate. This is compatible if you have the RamBox or not.
