Is There an Advantage to Switching From 7-Way Pin Connector to 7-Way Blade

Hi, I currently have a 7 pin round and I was wondering whether there is an advantage in changing to a 7 pin flat?

The 7-way flat/blade style is more common by far than the pin style. It really depends though on what you'll be towing. If you have the pin style now and only occasionally would need to tow a trailer with the blade style then the adapter part # HM47425 would be what you'd need. Or you could wire in a new 7-way blade style connector as part # HM47210.

Pin style is normally seen on heavy equipment towing and the blade style for RV use.
