Question:
I have a Toyota Prius V 2012. Which roof rack do you recommend? I do not have a moonroof

Expert Reply:
Since your 2012 Toyota Prius V doesn't have the panoramic roof I recommend the Rhino-Rack roof rack with the Vortex Aero Crossbars. It uses parts # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK195. The Rhino-Rack system is high quality but not as expensive as some others. It doesn't fit the Prius V if you have the panoramic sunroof but will work great on yours. It installs with clamps around the door jambs, like most of the racks for your vehicle do.
If you don't like the clamp-on design another option is the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B. SeaSuckers use vacuum cups so they're extremely universal and easy to install and uninstall. I've linked a couple of videos for you. One of the Monkey Bars on a Prius a little older than yours and another of a different SeaSucker product that shows the strength of the vacuum cups.
