if so what would be a good set of roof rails and Kayak carrier to purchase

We have a roof rack that will fit your 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited so that you could carry a kayak carrier like the part # Y04073 which for that you'd want the Thule Roof Rack Components # TH711520 and # TH65BJ but you really have to check with Jeep to determine what the capacity is for the hardtop of your Wrangler. I've heard it barely has any capacity at all but was not able to get an exact figure.
