Can i put a trailer hitch on this car to pull a small boat.

You can put a trailer hitch on your 2017 Kia Forte and for that I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11368 if you have a sedan or part # C11395 if you have a hatchback. However, Kia does not recommend towing a trailer with this vehicle according to the owner's manual.
If you choose to ignore this then in order to tow a trailer you are also going to need a trailer wiring harness part # C53KR, a ball mount part # C45521, and a hitch ball part # A-80 for 1-7/8" or part # A-82 for 2".
