Will the CURT Hitch # 13044 Install on a 2006 Diesel Jeep Liberty with Skid Plate and Tow Hook

I have a 2006 diesel Jeep Liberty Limited. It has the metal skid plate over the diesel fuel tank and 1 recovery hook on the rear drivers side. Will the skid plate, hook and being a diesel inhibit my instalation? The skid plate also utilizes the six holes needed for the hitch.

To install this CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13044 on your 2006 Jeep Liberty diesel you will need to remove the recovery hook and temporarily remove or loosen the bolts that attach the skid plate to the rear of your vehicle. Check out the installation instructions and installation video I attached.
Since you will be removing the recovery hook you may be interested in purchasing a Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Forged Tow Hook # TR63044 as a replacement. This would install into the hitch opening.
