Question:
I have fairly heavy electric bicycle approx 50 lbs. Would using this rack, with my one bike mounted, put too much stress on the vehicle’s spoiler? I cannot use a hitch-mounted rack because I will be towing a small camping trailer. Thanks.

I do have options for you but the Thule OutWay 2-Bike Rack part # TH45JV has a 33 lb per bike weight capacity which means it would not be suitable for your 50 lb e-bike. The cradles themselves are only rated for 33 lbs so I cannot recommend you exceed this. With that being said we do still have options for you even when pulling a trailer.
In order to carry the bike on the vehicle you would need to install a front mount hitch like the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch part # C31054 for Limited or part # C31076 for SR5/TRD models and then use a bike rack like the Swagman E-Spec 2 Bike Platform Rack part # S94FR. The other options you have is to install a trailer hitch on the rear of you camper with the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703 and then use the Swagman Escapee 2 as it is rated for use on campers.
I have attached multiple review video for you as well.
