Solution for B and W Companion Hitch that Won't Fit All the Way In and Latch

Question:
I transferred my companion slider to my new truck now the pads rest on top of the bed ribs and the latch wont engage. What can I do to fix this?

Expert Reply:
You'll need to loosen the tracks on the bottom of your Companion hitch so that you can position them to fall into the valleys of your truck bed surface. This will allow the hitch to fit and position properly.
