RV Propane T-Fitting to Run Stove and Grill at the Same Time

Updated 10/03/2018 | Published 10/02/2018

Question:

Hi, I just purchased a 5th wheel with a LP line to the rear outdoor kitchen, which has a female quick disconnect on it. Whats the best way to run 2 appliances, each with their own regular. I dont see a dual outlet male /2 female QD tee on your site. Do they work? The stove it came with has a hose with QD on it, but I would need to purchase both the tee and a quick disconnect hose with male on one end and the reusable female fitting on the other, for connection to the coleman road trip grill Thanks!

The quick connect on your outdoor kitchen has already been regulated for a single small appliance like your stove. You mentioned the hose, but you can add a length with a shut-off like the Camco Quick-Connect to Quick-Connect Propane Hose - 3' Long # CAM57280.

To add a second appliance, a T-connection at that location will not work well. You instead will want to run a T-fitting earlier in your system and then run another hose for your grill.

I recommend using the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting for Type 1 Valve - Quick Disconnect and Disposable Cylinder Ports # 103613-MBS and then use the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose for Small Appliance - Disposable Cylinder Port - 10' # 100476-120-MBS which will connect to your Coleman RoadTrip Grill.
