Question:

Hi I have a Dodge Durango 2018. I am wondering if you know any sort of adaptor to convert a 7 way blade connector to a 13 pin plug. Basically I would like the plug to fit European standards as I need to have lights on bike rack. I am adding 2 pictures... What I currently have on the DD and what I would like to get. Not sure if I need to re-wire.... Thanks

We do not have any European 13 way adapters to make your bike rack lights compatible so you will need to rewire it. So you would need to create a custom adapter using a 7-way connector and probably a junction box to protect an external converter box that you will need to separate the stop light from the turn signal for your 13 way bike rack wiring. For this conversion, I recommend the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # 118158 along with the Wesbar Adapter - 7-Way RV to 4-Way or 5-Way Flat - 18" Long # 707250 and then use # 3375601100 for the junction box. which will only need 5 of the connectors. The running lights will bypass the converter box.

Typically on a European 13 way, the Red Wire - Brake Lights, Yellow Wire - Left Turn Signal, Green Wire - Right Turn Signal, Brown Wire - Tail Lights/Running Lights, and White Wire - Ground.
