Bike Rack Recommendation for E-Bike that Weighs 45 lb

Question:

I have a 2011 Nissan Juke My question is: If a bike rack says it can handle 60 lbs/2 bikes up to 30 lbs can it handle 1 bike that is 45 lbs? I know it has to be a hitch rack. thank you.

A bike rack that can carry up to 60 lbs with a 30 lbs per bike capacity as well cannot carry a bike over 30 lbs even if it's a single bike. Reason being that the wheel or frame cradles are limited to only 30 lbs capacity. The Thule Easy Fold part # TH903202 that you referenced would be a great solution for you as it can carry bikes that weigh up to 65 lbs per bike. This rack was designed with E-bikes like what you have in mind as it comes with a ramp which makes for easier loading/unloading and has an attachment design that works great with the typical frame designs of E-bikes.
