Ladder Rack and Hard Tonneau Cover for a 2016 Ford F-150 Short Bed

Hello, I have a 2016 F150 with the short bed and I am interested in buying a ladder rack and a hard cover. Whats the most cost effective way to achieve this?

When you say that your 2016 Ford F-150 has a short bed is it the 6-1/2 foot bed or the 5-1/2 foot bed? And does the truck bed have the factory cargo management system or not? I want to make sure I can make the right recommendations for you so I included both below.
5-1/2 foot bed with or without cargo management system:
Ladder rack # TH43002XT-508
Tonneau cover # BAK39329 (its a hard cover that rolls up and has a vinyl top layer)
6-1/2 foot bed with or without cargo management system:
Ladder rack # TH43002XT-501
Tonneau cover # BAK39327 (also a hard cover that rolls up and has a vinyl top layer)
Basically the sliding ladder racks above are the only option because they mount on top of the bed side rails and won't interfere with a Tonneau cover. The one Tonneau cover that we know for a fact works with this ladder rack without interference is the BAK Revolver which happens to be a hard cover making that recommendation the best option.
While it is possible other covers that fit between the rails will work I can't guarantee there won't be interference. You would need to have one that either rolls up like the Revolver or you would need a retractable cover which would cost a lot more than the Revolver.
