Can I just run the wires direct to my camper battary installing an inline fuse ?

The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 can be run directly from your trailer battery if you use an in-line fuse or in-line circuit breaker like # 9506P. Most people utilize a switch like # PK34360 and # 16-1-1 wire sold by the foot to give an on/off option so you don't drain your battery when you don't need the heater on.
