Hey I recently bought a used box and one of the parts it needs is the lock piece that sits on the lid that fits into the lock mechanism to allow it to lock to the base. Thule says they dont offer riveted pieces as replacements, do you have any idea where I could get my hands on one? The holes are clean on my lid and could easily secure it, Im just having a tough time finding one. Thanks for any help!

We only offer the replacement parts that Thule and other manufactures offer. The part you are looking for that is riveted near the lock Thule doesn't offer as you stated, but I do have an idea for a lock to make your box able to be secured.
Obviously without a direct replacement part, you would still need a method to lock your cargo box, and Thule makes another brand called SportRack that offers basic replacement parts. You may be interested in the Replacement Lock Core and Key for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box # SR03807 along with the Replacement Lock Locator # TH03808.
