Recommended A-Frame Jack with Most Ground Clearance

Question:

I would like to know how long the outer tube extends below the A-frame flange. That is the one dimension that is missing in your great video and data sheet. please measure the length from the bottom of the flange to the bottom of the outer tube. I am hoping it is not less than 3 1/2 inches. Our 4-H utility trailer already has the lower support plate installed. The thickness from the top face of the A-frame to the bottom face of the lower support place face is about 3 1/2 inches. I need the jack to be able to tuck up tight so it doesnt drag on driveway or other steep bends in a roadway or rocks in middle of the roadway. Thanks.

The distance from the bottom of the mounting flange to the bottom of the outer tube on the Bulldog Round, A-Frame Jack part # BD155033 is 3-1/2". The mounting flange is 3/16" thick. I have attached a photo of these measurements for you as well. If you need something with even more clearance then the only other option we have is the Ultimate Trailer Jack part # 322-RDJ-2K which measures 1-3/4" with the jack fully retracted and the collar at the lowest setting.

I have attached a review video of both jacks for you as well.
