I just bought a new gmc 1500 Denali found out while passing it has a speed limiter. Tires are rated at 135 what can I do to adjust the speed limiter and maintain the factory warranty?

To adjust the factory speed limiter on your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali you can install a tuner like the Superchips Flashcal # SU2545. This tuner is confirmed to fit your truck and will provide you with speed and rev limiter adjustments, calibration options for larger aftermarket tires, and the ability to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes.
While this will allow you to adjust the speed limiter I can't really commend going over the factory setting. This limit is there to ensure safe operation of not only the tires but also the driveshaft and other components on the truck. If something were to go wrong with the truck and it was a result of the tuner or adjustment in the speed limiter then the damages would likely not be covered under the vehicle's warranty.

The older trucks where safer when not shutting down. It's easy to hit the cutoff at certain passing situations maybe just trying to get out of the way then your motor shuts down. Honda did this with there motorcycles at a 100 mph. Ripoff !!
