Love that you offer this product with adaptors to mount it on aero-style bars, which I have. Are those mounting pieces made of plastic, nylon or metal? Thank you

The Yakima TopGrip Paddle, Shovel, or Axe Holder Brackets for Roof Rack Crossbars # Y04086 are a composite plastic with a rubber padding added. They will fit just about any paddle or other straight handled item from 30 to 50mm in diameter and up to 9 pounds.
You can add lock cores # Y07202 to secure your equipment.
