Can be install to 2012 Toyota highlander with factory cross bar without hitting the rear cargo door when it’s open?

I checked with Thule and the Upride part # TH599000 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the factory crossbars of your 2012 Toyota Highlander with factory crossbars and will allow you to open the rear cargo door with the rack installed.
