Does the Roadmaster StowMaster # RM-501 Tow Bar Fit Specific Vehicles

What you have in your picture is a very old StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501 which is still attached to some base plates. I reached out to my contact at Roadmaster who said the serial number from the StowMaster indicates that it is rated for 5,000 lbs but there really isn't a way to determine what the base plate kit fits.

If you let me know what vehicle the base plate kit was used on I can possibly give you some part numbers that you can compare to what you have but if you remove the StowMaster tow bar it is actually compatible with a few different base plate kits. If you are wanting to use it with your current vehicle just let me know the year/make/model and I can see if we have base plates for you that are compatible with your tow bar.
