Should Steering Wheel of Vehicle Be Locked or Unlocked when Flat Towing

Question:
I plan to flat tow my dodge dakota uaing a Roadmaster nighthawk tow bar setup. do I need to locxk the steering wheel in a straight position or just leave it free??

When flat towing a vehicle the front wheels have to be free to turn so that the vehicle can track behind the tow vehicle around corners. For more info on how to flat tow your vehicle check the owners manual of your vehicle.
