Question:

Can I attach Hullavator to 2018 Equinox LS rack? It has an aero blade style, but no track on top.

I may have an option for you, however the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 that you referenced will not work with the factory crossbars on your 2018 Chevy Equinox. The system does need to utilize the channels on an aero-style crossbar for proper installation so it won't be able to fit your factory bars that don't feature a top track. Also, based on my research it doesn't look like the factory bars on your Equinox extend out past the roof sides enough for the Hullavator to be compatible.

For a different roof kayak carrier that will still offer some assistance with loading, I recommend taking a look at the Yakima HandRoll Kayak Carrier # Y04082-2. These will clamp around the aero bars on your Equinox without the need for a top channel and the roller-style carriers will allow you to load up a kayak from the rear of the vehicle and push it the rest of the way. Load straps and bow/stern tie-downs are also included to secure the kayak to the carrier and your vehicle.
