Question:

hitch for 2018 honda accord hybrid ex for Thule bike rack I saw someone say that the hitch for the 2018 accord does not work for the hybrid. What does?

Unfortunately, we do not have a hitch that is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid. We can offer a combination of a trunk mounted bike rack and a roof rack to carry your bikes.

For a bike rack, we have the trunk mounted bike rack, the Yakima FullBack # Y02634 to carry 2 bikes or the FullBack # Y02633 to carry 3 bikes. A trunk mount bike rack is going to be less expensive than a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack and trunk mount racks fit many different vehicles. That means if you have more than one vehicle there is a good chance a trunk rack will also fit those additional vehicles. Check out the attached video to learn how this would work for you.

If you need to carry more than the 2 or 3 bikes you have some options. You could go with the trunk mounted rack as described above and then add a roof rack to carry additional bikes on the roof. A roof rack also has the added benefit of being useful for other types of cargo including cargo boxes, baskets, kayak and ski carriers just to name a few.

You could use Thule's latest European-style roof rack consisting of the following parts:

You could then use a roof mounted bike rack such as the Thule ProRide # TH598004. This rack holds the bike at the frame so you won't have to take off the front wheel to load the bike.
